Reader Input: Get fluoride out of water

-A +A

Hats off to the Fioravanti family for taking a stand against ingesting the fluoride arbitrarily added to our water supplies (Press Tribune, Oct. 19).

Fluoride is a byproduct of the aluminum and fertilizer industries. These industries needed a place to dump this stuff as they were not allowed to dump fluoride into our rivers or onto our land. So, in one of the biggest con jobs ever, it ended up being added to many municipal water systems.

Ninety-eight percent of the European countries, as well as Japan, India, Iceland and Egypt do not allow fluoride to be added to their water systems. To find out why, visit the Fluoride Action Network website.

Also, I am thinking the good dentist on the Roseville City Council should know quite a bit about junk science as dentistry is loaded with it.
