The top priority of local government is to keep our citizens and neighborhoods safe. This is also the foundation of any economic development strategy, and a central criteria that businesses and families weigh before visiting or locating in a community.
That’s why I investigate who police officers, firefighters and first responders back in our local campaigns. In the race for City Council, both have backed Scott Alvord. He is also an award-winning small business owner, a former volunteer firefighter and the son of a police officer.
Ultimately, when it comes to creating jobs and keeping our community safe, leaders walk the talk. Scott Alvord exemplifies that standard, and that’s why he gets my vote for City Council.
