RCSD to make administration changes

Staff appointments and other items to be considered during school board meeting
-A +A
The Roseville City School District is shaking up its administration. The school board will consider the appointments of a new director of student services, assistant superintendent of educational services and director of instruction, assessment and intervention during its meeting Thursday. The board will also vote on appointing a new principal for Vencil Brown Elementary School and Kaseberg Elementary School. When the district’s assistant superintendent of educational services retired last year, the district did not fill that position, said Superintendent Richard Pierucci. The new assistant superintendent will start July 1. The district previously had a director of instruction and assessment, and a director of staff development. Pierucci said the district eliminated the staff development director position and the former director of instruction requested to return to a principal position. The director of student services resigned. The school board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 5 in the George Linsley Board Room at the district office, located at 1050 Main St. in Roseville. ~ Sena Christian
