Power outage for maintenance work
Roseville Electric has scheduled a power outage from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for maintenance work.
Crews will replace cable affecting the 100 and 300 blocks of Cirby Hills Drive, and the area along Valley Oak Drive and Live Oak Circle. The equipment is being replaced to ensure reliable electric service to customers in that area, according to a city press release.
Crews placed signs along Cirby Hills Drives and posted notices on customers’ front doors explaining the time and need for the outage.
The city suggests that during an outage, customers turn off major appliances and computer equipment to prevent damage from possible power surges when power is restored. Customers should keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed to keep food fresh.
Customers with questions or concerns should call (916) 797-6937. For more information, visit www.roseville.ca.us/outage.
