Zapraszamy! That’s Polish for “visit us,” and it’s what members of the Roseville-based Polish American Club of Greater Sacramento are saying as they approach their 19th annual Polish Festival, slated for noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 13. Held at the Polish American Community Hall at 327 Main St. in Roseville, the event is filled with authentic Polish food, live music, folk dancing, carnival games and more. Visitors can even take advantage of a Polish butcher who will be on hand selling meats and deli items. It’s the perfect excuse to scarf down some pierogi, kielbasa, golabki – and of, course, Polish dogs – all while learning more about the Polish culture. Best of all, admission’s free. For more information, visit www.polish-club.org or call 782-7171.
