Police seek leads in armed robbery of fast-food restaurant

The Roseville Police Department is looking for leads in the armed robbery of a fast-food restaurant that occurred Jan. 13. A fast-food restaurant in the 800 block of Sunrise Avenue was robbed Thursday afternoon. No one reported being injured. At 5:50 p.m. Roseville Police responded to a robbery that had just been reported. The suspect pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money from the cash register. He took the money and left, getting into the passenger seat of a waiting vehicle. As the vehicle left, the suspect fired a shot toward the business. The suspect who robbed the restaurant was described as a white or Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s, medium height and a slim build. He wore a black baseball cap, a black scarf over his face, a dark colored long-sleeved shirt or sweatshirt and blue jeans, and was armed with a handgun. The driver of the getaway vehicle was described only as a white male in his 20s. The suspect vehicle was described as a gray or light blue compact four-door sedan.
