Two teen girls from Roseville have gone missing under what police say are suspicious circumstances.

Melissa Perez, 16, and Angelina Loredo, 14, failed to return home after school on Thursday, according to a release sent from the Roseville Police Department today.

Between the hours of 6:40 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. Thursday, both girls sent text messages to their respective fathers indicating that they were with unknown male subjects who would not let them leave. Although they asked their families not to call the police, they indicated they were scared and unable to phone or text further.

Over the course of the last day and a half, the Roseville Police Department Investigations Division and the families of Melissa and Angelina have been looking for the girls and following up on leads. Information has been obtained that they may currently be in the area of Florin Road and Franklin Blvd in Sacramento – however their exact location is unknown.

The Roseville Police Department Investigations Division urges those who may have information on the current whereabouts of Melissa and Angelina to immediately contact the Roseville Police Department at (916) 774-5000 or their local law enforcement agency.
