Police searching for robbery suspect

On Monday Roseville police are still looking for a bank robbery suspect who struck a supermarket bank on Friday. Dee Dee Gunther of the Roseville Police Department said at 11:58 a.m. a call came from the River City Bank located inside the Bel Air store on Sunrise Avenue at Cirby Way. “When the officers arrived they found that the suspect had already fled,” she said. Gunther said it took officers three minutes to respond to the scene. Witnesses told police that the suspect walked up to the counter and handed over a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash without incident. Witnesses reported that no weapon was ever seen. The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, 6’ tall with a medium build. He had short brown hair with scruffy facial hair with a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a black ball cap, sunglasses, a black San Francisco Giants jersey and blue jeans.
