Police search for bank robbery suspect

Rocklin Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a bank Monday. The suspect, described as a white adult male, reportedly entered Premier West Bank on Granite Drive and handed a demand note to the teller. The suspect left with approximately $730, according to Rocklin Police Sgt. Tom Dwyer. The suspect was unarmed and no injuries were reported, Dwyer said. Surveillance cameras at TDS Guns store on Granite Drive captured images of the suspect. Dwyer said the cameras caught three different views of the suspect. The suspect is described as an adult white male, between 50 and 60 years old and between 5-feet-8-inches and 5-feet-9-inches. He was seen wearing a gray baseball hat with a white logo on the front, blue jeans, a gray long-sleeved shirt and wire-framed glasses. Arriving officers conducted a search of the area but did not locate the suspect. Currently the Rocklin Police Department and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
