Registration for the Pentathlon takes place at 1:30 p.m. and the event begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Rusch Park Softball Diamonds, located on Antelope Road, within the Rusch Community Part at 7801 Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a free concert with musical guests The Reel.

The five events include pitching, throwing for accuracy, hitting for accuracy and distance, home run derby and base running for speed. The cost is $25 to enter all events or participants can enjoy a single event for $7 each. All proceeds go to assist Victor Rodriguez.
