Krissi Khokhobashvili has been named editor of the Press Tribune, serving Roseville and Granite Bay, and the Granite Bay View.

Khokhobashvili (pronounced “Ho-ho-bosh-VEE-Lee”) succeeds Michelle Carl, who left the company in February.
“Since then, Krissi has acted as the interim editor and was the natural choice,” said Publisher Kelly Leibold. “Krissi is also the editor at the Placer Herald and has a proven ability of talents for quality writing, editing and managing, earning her the new position of editor for the Press Tribune and Granite Bay View.”
Khokhobashvili is a graduate of the University of Montana’s journalism program and previously worked for five years at the Calaveras Enterprise, a bi-weekly in San Andreas, serving for three years as city editor. She also held the position of features editor at the Auburn Journal.
“I’m honored to serve these fine communities,” Khokhobashvili said, “and I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence of all of our Gold Country Media publications.”
