NASCAR is back at All American Speedway

The 2009 NASCAR season kicks off this weekend at All American Speedway with special pricing for the first All American Open Showdown on the 1/3-mile paved oval located at the Placer County Fairgrounds. Friday and Saturday night will have full race programs. Friday night will be seven-dollar Friday. All tickets will only be $7 for adults, juniors, kids, and seniors. Kids under six are still free. Saturday tickets will be held at last year’s regular prices even though this special show promises many surprises. Adults on Saturday will be $13, kids 6-15 and seniors over 60 will be $7. Under six is free. The Speedway has also introduced a new family pass that will allow up to two adults and three juniors admission for just $35. The ticket box office and grandstand gate opens at 4 PM each night. This special season opening event proceeds the NASCAR Whelen series scheduled to kick off on March 28 at the Speedway. Entries from all over the Western states have been received for this week’s event. A special traveling Late Model division will be included for the two-day show. The lure of a $3,000 top prize in the Late Models assures a huge crowd of entries. The special open competition rules and format allows a variety of cars to compete which adds to excitement and color for the weekend. Friday will have timed qualifying, trophy dashes, and 25-lap qualifier races. Saturday will have B main events and the feature races for each division including the 150-lap Showdown Race.
