Police have released the name of the victim who suffered fatal gunshot wounds after an illegal drug deal turned violent over the weekend in Roseville. Floyd Raymond Allen III, 42, of Sacramento, was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Sacramento Saturday evening. The shooting occurred shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday at a crowded shopping center parking lot in the 1200 block of Galleria Boulevard, according to Roseville police. Police said five men gathered inside a gray van to conduct an illegal methamphetamine sale, and police believe four of the men had intentions of robbing the drug dealer. A struggle ensued inside the van around 8:13 p.m. and three of the five men were shot, police said. The deceased victim was driven to the hospital in the van by his brother Harold Lee Allen, 41, of Sacramento, who also suffered gunshot wounds to the leg. Harold Lee Allen was treated and released to the custody of the Roseville Police Department, charged with murder, conspiracy and violation of parole. A 55-year-old Rio Linda man also suffered major injuries from gunshot wounds to his legs during the incident. He remains in a local hospital in critical condition and his name is not being released because he has not yet been arrested or charged, according to Dee Dee Gunther of the Roseville Police Department.
