Fifth graders from Merryhill School in Roseville donated 307 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls for those devastated by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Students piggybacked on the efforts of Sports Chalet in Roseville to merge their shoe donations. The kids also made fliers and posted them throughout the community to encourage people to bring in gently used and outgrown shoes. The students delivered the collected shoes to Sports Chalet on Friday, April 8.
