Loomis triple-murder suspect to be arraigned Wednesday

Loomis triple-murder suspect Jeremy Ray Baker is to make his initial court appearance Wednesday in North Auburn. Detectives arrested the the 36-year-old Roseville resident Monday, two days after Placer County sheriff's deputies discovered three shooting victims at a Loomis residence. The three victims were identified as Nanette Florance, John Camara and Lawrence Fay. Baker is to be arraigned in Placer Superior Court on counts of murder, possession of a silencer, and rearrest on probation. Lt. Mark Reed said Baker knew the victims but a motive for the killings is not being released at this time. Baker is being held without bail at the Placer County Jail in North Auburn. He'll be arraigned at 1 p.m. in the jail courtroom. - Gus Thomson
