Paige Lee of Granite Bay High School and Ashley Noda of St. Francis each shot 4-over-par 76 Monday at the CIF Northern California Golf Championships at Stockton Country Club. The tie for fourth place individually qualified Lee for the State Championships next Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga. Noda, a Roseville resident, qualified with St. Francis, which failed to defend its 2009 NorCal title but placed second to Alameda, which won with a 419 total. St. Francis totaled 426. Amador Valley of Pleasanton was third at 443 and qualified. Lee started on the back nine on the 6,167-yard layout and parred all nine holes. She had five pars and four bogeys on the front nine. Noda had birdies on the 11th hole, a 179-yard par 3, and 17th, a 408-yard par 5. Her 76 led St. Francis. Hannah Suh of Evergreen Valley in San Jose shot a 1-over 73 to win the medalist honor for the second year in a row. Kelsey Ulep of Whitney shot a 7-over 79 and qualified for the state tournament.
