Kings’ experts teach youth fitness tips

Dance team, Breakers to attend First Friday at the Fountains

Learn fitness tips from the experts when members of the Sacramento Kings organization lead the “Fitness Timeout” event Friday, Aug. 5, at the Fountains. Youth are invited to participate in fitness activities that promote the positive benefits of exercise and healthy lifestyles. Experts will teach methods for being fit through fun exercises that kids can add to their daily routines. Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Breakers and members of the dance team will also be featured. Rock the purple by wearing Kings gear or purple apparel and look for the “Kings Purple Patrol” rewarding fans sporting the color. “Fitness Timeout” takes place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the Fountains, located at the corner of Roseville Parkway and Galleria Boulevard in Roseville. The event is part of the First Friday celebration, which also features crafts, art, a free kids zone, character appearances by Belle and Rapunzel, a Corvette car show, and a beer and wine garden.
