Kickers put the boots to Strikers in U-10 match

The defensive play of Makenzie Towle, Lilly Garewal and Jocelyn Wolfinger helped the Keiki Kickers shut out the Star Strikers 4-0 in an under-10 girls soccer match last weekend.

Gracie Harada scored two goals, and Annika Gresko and Megan Huber each scored one for the Kickers.

Under-10 boys

Roseville Cougars 6, Rocklin Arsenal 1 — Brett Knudsen scored four goals to lift the Cougars over the Arsenal in Roseville Youth Soccer Club action. Luke Greco and Phillip Semenov also scored. Joey Montoya and Mitchell Jamison helped create the scoring opportunities.

Under-14 girls

Starfire 6, Rocklin Hornets 0 — Camryn Franks had a hat trick, Rebecca Endres scored two goals, and Sydnie Knudtson scored once to lift the Starfire. Kiersten Killmer created opportunities for the offense, and Kati Bolen and Lauren Crowe played tough defense.

Under-8 boys

Huskies 3, Earthquakes 0 — Standouts for the Earthquakes were Camden Ferro on defense and in goal, Brady Catterlin on offense and Brayden Loomis at midfield.
