Hunt for eggs in Granite Bay

The 33rd annual Granite Bay Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast will be held Saturday, March 23, in the field at Cavitt Junior High School, 7200 Fuller Drive, Granite Bay.

As a service club, the Kiwanis Club of Granite Bay is committed to continuing this tradition attended by an estimated 500 people, including parents, grandparents and children from the surrounding area. This free event includes arts and crafts organized by the Granite Bay High School Key Club, an Easter egg hunt with a total of 5,000 filled plastic eggs, Easter baskets to eight children who find the egg with the golden ticket and various booths and activities sponsored and manned by local businesses.

There will also be a pancake breakfast for $5 per person (children $3). Proceeds from this event will directly support nonprofit organizations that benefit local children. Breakfast is serve at 8 a.m.; the Easter egg hunt starts at 10 a.m.
