Hometown News: Roseville student receives University of Central Missouri scholarship
Dedication to academic success in high school has earned Shelby Rushing of Roseville a Red and Black Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 per year to attend the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.
The Red and Black Scholarship is awarded to incoming UCM freshmen based upon their high school cumulative grade point average and ACT composite score. The scholarship is renewable and may be received for a maximum of eight semesters of undergraduate study.
A senior at Granite Bay High School, Rushing will attend UCM in the fall, majoring in biology. She is the daughter of Terry and Karen Rushing of Roseville.
