Alex Fischer chips in doing some painting during “Painting a Better Tomorrow,” a charity work day benefiting Roseville Home Start on Saturday. More than 40 members of the homebuilding industry and volunteers from the community painted the interiors of 12 units for Roseville Home Start, which transitions homeless families into affordable, sustainable permanent housing. HomeAid Sacramento, the charitable arm of the North State Building Industry Association, organized the volunteer effort.
