Historical Society seeks to restore club histories

-A +A
The city of Roseville will soon be celebrating its 100th year. In lieu of this, the Roseville Historical Society is hoping to document histories, stories, photos and other documents of old clubs that used to be active in Roseville. “We hope to archive some history here before it’s completely lost,” said Phoebe Still, curator of Carnegie Museum. “It’s sad that we’ve lost the history of some of these groups.” The Roseville Historical Society is asking people who know of past club members or have been members of such clubs to help restore these pieces of history. Please contact Phoebe Astill at (916) 773-3003, or visit www.rosevillehistorical.org for more information. The Carnegie Museum is located at 557 Lincoln Street in Roseville.
