Attention all networkers “ our first Table Top Mixer of the year is scheduled for Thursday evening in the Highland Pointe Center. Our hosts for the evening will be Mourier Land Investment Corporation; Regus Management Group; Rabobank, N.A.; and SureWest Directories. The event is slated for 5:30-7:30 p.m. and will showcase our following members: Advanced Detailing, American Laser Centers, Bibby Financial Services, Buca di Beppo, Demonstrated Performance Inc., LeTip of Rocklin, MetroPCS, New Venture Attorneys, P.C., Qdoba Mexican Grill, RosevilleGraniteBayStyle Magazine, Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill, Secure Plus Inc. Insurance Services, Sign*A*Rama, SureWest Communications, Sutter Express Care and Who's Kicking Roseville 3/4 D Baby Ultrasound. Admission is free for all attendees. n n n Each month the chamber sponsors a small business forum. This month it is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. Thursday, March 13 in the chamber boardroom. The topic for this month will be Direct Marketing: The difference between casting a net and throwing a line, presented by Mary Towne and Rick Niemi of Bouchard Communi-cations Group. They will be covering the following items: n Direct marketing casts a wide net over potential customers n How to develop a successful direct marketing campaign n Winning technologies and techniques n Selecting the right source for direct marketing lists and information n Using the appropriate delivery method or channel Our small business forums are free for chamber members. Bring your lunch, business cards, do a little networking and learn a lot. n n n After more than a year of being back in our renovated and expanded office, we have decided to hang some art on our bare walls. Thanks to the efforts of Judi Nicholson and Placer Arts, our office is now showcasing the whimsical work of artist Paula Di Leo. She is a self-taught artist and her colorful creations of dancing ladies, perplexed cats and whimsical art can be seen in galleries throughout Northern California. Di Leo combines many different media such as oil pastels, markers, prismacolor pencil, pen and ink and decorative papers for a very distinctive style.
