Christian Fehrenbacher started scouts in kindergarten and grew to love the organization. After earning his Arrow of Light in fifth grade, he moved on to Boy Scout Troop 121. Later, he transferred to Troop 48 where he remained for his junior high and high school years. Fehrenbacher has attended numerous summer camps including Camp Lassen, Camp Marin Sierra, and participated in the “Rugged E” program at Camp Emerald Bay. Fehrenbacher, now 18, will be awarded his Eagle Scout Badge at a special National Court of Honor ceremony on July 19 hosted by Boy Scout Troop 48. The ceremony will be at 2 p.m. at Bayside Church, 8191 Sierra College Blvd. in Roseville. Fehrenbacher has earned 21 merit badges and has held many leadership positions in the troop. For his Eagle Scout Project, Fehrenbacher recruited fellow scouts to assist in in-stalling a decomposed granite patio in the Ronald L. Feist Park. He is attending UC Davis in the fall.
