Granite Bay graduates to be honored by Jessup basketball

William Jessup University basketball players Anthony Anderson and Preston Bramow will be honored on Senior Night when the Warriors act as hosts to Pacific Union College at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Both are Granite Bay High School graduates.

The Warriors (10-15 overall, 5-5 California Pacific Conference) had a three-game win streak snapped last week with a 52-45 loss to Cal State Maritime on Thursday in Rocklin. Bramow led Jessup with 19 points and eight rebounds.

Jessup then fell to Simpson University 55-53 on Saturday night in Redding.
Simpson made the winning shot with six-tenths of a second left. Anderson led the Warriors with 14 points.

Jessup will play at UC Merced at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Local track club to begin practice

The Revolution Express Track Club will hold practices on Monday and Thursday each week beginning Feb. 20 at Rocklin High School.
