Granite Bay grad leads Jessup in final collegiate game

William Jessup University lost to Holy Names 71-62 in the California Pacific Conference Tournament semifinals Saturday night in Oakland.

Preston Bramow, a graduate of Granite Bay High School, led the Warriors (12-17 overall, 6-6 CalPac) with 16 points in his final collegiate game, and he grabbed six rebounds.

Senior Anthony Anderson, also a Granite Bay graduate, scored 11 points in the loss to Holy Names and was one of three Jessup players with 12 points in a 73-68 victory over visiting Pacific Union in a CalPac quarterfinal Feb. 22. Jessup junior Jordan Wilson of Rocklin also scored 12 points against Pacific Union.

Hole in one

Mike Patrick made a hole in one at Woodcreek Golf Club on Feb. 18. Patrick used a 3-hybrid to ace the 14th hole, which played at 183 yards.
