Granite Bay’s Lee ties for third in AJGA tournament
Granite Bay High School junior Paige Lee tied for third place in the American Junior Golf Association Under Armour/Gary Woodland Championship last weekend in Patterson.
Lee shot rounds of 72 and 71 for a 1-over-par 143 total on the Ranch Course at Diablo Grande Golf and Country Club.
Pailin Ruttanasupagid of San Diego, a native of Thailand, won the event with a 2-under 140 total. Marissa Hinchman of Lodi placed second at even-par 142, and Lee tied Mariel Galdiano of Pearl City, Hawaii, for third.
KK Limbhasut, also a native of Thailand, won the boys division with a 5-under 139. Limbhasut shot a 68 on Sunday to overcome a five-stroke deficit.
Hole in one
Brian Wilder on Friday used an 8-iron to score a hole in one on the 122-yard fourth hole at Woodcreek Golf Club.
