To learn more about options and challenges facing retirees and soon to be retirees, the first Boomer Expo will be held from 1-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Sun City Roseville. In addition to presentations in the field of finance, health and travel head pro Mark Gouger of Sun City Roseville’s Timber Creek Golf Course will lead a pair of golf clinics on the driving range at 2 and 5 p.m. He will concentrate on what retirees should do to improve their game. “Most golfers think they will improve immediately when they have more time to play,” Gouger said. “But that isn’t necessarily true. Their game becomes outcome-driven and their main concern is their score. They should focus on action.” In addition to the indoor expo activities, there will also be a classic car show with some 20 vintage custom cars on display. Most of the cars are owned by Sun City residents. The free expo will be held at the Timber Creek Ballroom at Sun City Roseville, located at 7050 Del Webb Blvd.
