The community is invited to celebrate Granite Bay High School’s athletic accomplishments on Friday, fresh off last week’s defeat of Long Beach Poly in the CIF Division I State Championship.

Friends, families, fans and alumni are welcome to come to the Grizzly Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Friday for a ceremony to commemorate the high school’s three state champions in 2012 — the Granite Bay Grizzly football team, state champion cross country runner, freshman, Maggie Bell, and the 2012 boys’ golf team, which won its first state championship in the spring.

Granite Bay High School’s award-winning Emerald Brigade Marching Band will perform, as well as the school’s Extreme Dance Team and Cheer Team. Grizzly Football Coach Ernie Cooper will speak briefly and unveil the school’s latest trophy.

Admission is free. Granite Bay High School is at 1 Grizzly Way, Granite Bay.
