The environmental report on the city of Roseville’s proposed digital billboard project is now available for public review through May 3.

The project consists of the construction and operation of a digital billboard with two display faces on city-controlled property along I-80. The billboard would be constructed in a landscape island in the parking lot of the Golfland/Sunsplash entertainment complex on Taylor Road.

The city would request that Clear Channel remove the existing traditional billboard located about 70 feet east in exchange for the digital billboard.

Copies of the report are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the city’s permit center, 311 Vernon St. It is also available at the Downtown Roseville Library, 225 Taylor St., Riley Library, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. and Maidu Library, 1530 Maidu Drive during normal operating hours. View the report online at www.roseville.ca.us/gov/community_development/edpn.asp.

The billboard project is tentatively scheduled to go before the Roseville City Council on Wednesday, May 15.
