Eating at a local Round Table Pizza on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25 will help ease the financial burden of Tim Krumal, a Granite Bay resident who will soon undergo a bone marrow transplant.

Fifty percent of what a customer spends goes directly to his family to help cover medical expenses. But the customer must print out and bring the fundraiser flier to Round Table.

“This family is one of the most special families I have met in Granite Bay,” said resident Eric Bose. “Tim was my son’s soccer coach last year, and since knowing them I have met so many people who have been blessed by them. They are in need now, and need all the help they can get from our entire community.”

Tim and wife Jana Krumal have four children, ages 6 to 13. He was the pastor of Family Ministries at Auburn Grace Community Church for several years and his wife was the preschool director.

Tim Krumal was diagnosed with Lymphoma in October 2010 and will spend the next several months at a medical facility in Stanford undergoing and recovering from the bone marrow transplant.

The Round Table Pizza flier will be accepted at two locations: 8755 Sierra College Blvd. in Roseville and 6811 Douglas Blvd. in Granite Bay. Customers can dine in, carry out or call in for delivery. To access and print the flier, click on the PDF file below called "KrumalFundraiser."
