Downtown Tuesday Nights to return
By: Jim Gray Mayor of Roseville
With summer time approaching, Downtown Tuesday Nights returns to Vernon Street. This popular tradition runs every Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. and offers a range of free, fun activities for the whole family. Presented by Johny 5 Productions and the Downtown Roseville Merchants, Downtown Tuesday Nights is a chance to enjoy food, live music, a classic car show and much more while running into old friends and making new ones. This long-standing annual tradition brings thousands of people to Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville. For youths, there’s the kids fun zone, while parents and kids alike can enjoy a food court, expanded farmers’ market and more than 100 vendor booths. There’s also a different band scheduled for each Tuesday, ranging from classic rock and blues to swing, world music and much more. It’s also easier than ever to access downtown Roseville during this year’s Tuesday events. This year, residents will enjoy the ease of parking at the new Civic Plaza parking garage, with an entrance on Oak Street, offering more than 550 free parking spaces. And be sure to visit the stores that are open for business on Vernon Street and throughout downtown Roseville during the event. Visit www.downtownroseville.com for more information. We’ll see you there.
