Doss makes it two in a row in Roseville in traveling Late Model series

Jeremy Doss scored his second consecutive checkered flag in the Airport Auto Brokers Late Model Series at All American Speedway.

Doss took the lead on lap 23 and drove to the 75-lap victory by .587 of a second over dash winner Forrest Kuecker. Eric Schmidt of Roseville was third in the 18-car main event. Doss also won the previous series stop in Roseville on May 26.

In other races, Chris Paulson won the 35-lap Bomber main by .864 of a second over Erick Ray, Danny Allen bested a 16-car field in the 35-lap Legends feature, and Mickey Owens and Kevin Owens finished 1-2 in the 35-lap Street Stock main.


When: Saturday, Placer County Fairgrounds, 800 All America City Blvd., Roseville. Grandstands open at 4 p.m. Racing at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, racing at 6 p.m.

Saturday: Modified (60-lap main event), Pro 4 Mod, NCMA Sprint, BCRA Midget (35-lap main events). Sunday: West Coast Enduro, Mid-Summermania (200 laps).

Ticket prices: $13 for ages 16-59, $7 for seniors 60 and up and juniors 6-15, free for children 5 and under, $35 for a family pass (two adults, three juniors). Parking is $5 per vehicle.
