The Roseville Police Department is reaching out to the public in hopes of identifying a commercial burglary suspect who caused serious property damage and stole valuable items from a Roseville business on March 6.

According to Roseville police, the suspect approached a restaurant on the corner of Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard and Pleasant Grove Boulevard at 4:30 a.m. He smashed in a window, gaining access to steal a company safe with cash. Police said he also broke the windows out of two nearby businesses.

“The suspect appears to be a tall African-American male adult,” said Roseville police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther. “He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, jeans and a ball cap with a Superman logo on it.”

Images of the suspect were captured on surveillance cameras. Though some colors and details are obscured by night vision, police are hoping residents can help identify the man they are looking for. Gunther urged anyone with information to call her department. Crime tips can be submitted anonymously by calling, emailing or texting. Those who submit tips qualify for a cash reward if the information provided leads to an arrest.
