Detectives seek identity of Granite Bay burglars
Two suspect were in blue Ford pickup truck, report says
Placer County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects connected to two residential burglaries in Granite Bay that occurred late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Early Wednesday morning, the suspects were captured on surveillance video at a Granite Bay store using a stolen credit card taken from one of the burglarized homes, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report, the suspects were driving an older, blue Ford pickup truck with a lumber rack on top and a toolbox mounted in the truck bed. At both homes, the thieves took bicycles, wallets, purses, credit cards and electronic equipment. The two suspects are white males, one with a shaved head and wearing a long-sleeved burgundy shirt and blue jeans. The other wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored baseball cap and light-colored pants.
