Dennis Prager to speak locally
Dennis Prager, one of the nation’s foremost conservative radio talk show hosts and political commentators, will be speaking Monday, April 4, at the Temple Or Rishon in Orangevale.
His lecture will explore what Jews and Christians can learn from each other.
Prager is known for his conservative political and social views emanating from Judeo-Christian values. He has lectured on all seven continents, in 45 U.S. states and in nine of Canada’s 10 provinces.
Prager covers a variety of topics, including politics, morality and religion. He speaks French, Russian and Hebrew and often lectures in these languages.
“Prager’s fiery personality and clarity on complicated issues draws listeners of all different opinions and beliefs and always leaves them wanting more,” said event co-organizer Cheryll Goldscheid, in a press release. “It will be a real treat to see him speak on a topic that is different, and much more specific, than the content on his show, which has a large following in the Sacramento area.”
The “Dennis Prager Show” is a nationally syndicated radio talk show that airs live on KRLA AM 870 in Los Angeles. He began broadcasting in 1982 and his show became nationally syndicated in 1999 and can now be heard on about 75 stations nationwide.
The “Dennis Prager Show” airs locally on Sacramento radio station KTKZ AM 1380 from 9 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday.
Prager writes a syndicated column called “Creators Syndicate” and has authored four books, including two he co-wrote.
