William Kreil, 41, of Citrus Heights, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and parole violation following a Feb. 29 vehicle break-in. Officers searched the greenbelt and the neighborhood and found the car, with the help of the first neighbor’s description. Felipe Dottery-Serrato, 19, of Sacramento, and a 16-year-old male juvenile from Citrus Heights were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and conspiracy.

Officers believe the males were in the neighborhood looking for houses to break into.

March 10

At 10:50 a.m. on March 10, Roseville Police and Roseville Fire personnel responded to a vehicle versus bicyclist collision on Pleasant Grove Boulevard at Highland Pointe Drive.  A 2007 red Saturn 4-door was turning right from eastbound Highland Pointe Drive onto southbound Pleasant Grove Boulevard and collided with a bicyclist who was riding across Highland Point Drive in the crosswalk.  The bicyclist, a 22-year-old man from Roseville, was taken by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with what appeared to be minor injuries. The Saturn driver drove away from the scene of the collision.

With license plate information provided by a witness, an officer located the vehicle and contacted the suspected driver in a parking lot on Foothills Blvd. at about 2 that afternoon. Joseph Mark Badgett, 23, of Roseville was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run (leaving the scene of an injury collision).
