Crime log: Neighbors report shots fired on Roseville street

Nov. 21

At 9:30 p.m., officers responded to calls from several residents who heard shots fired in the 200 block of 4th Street. Some reported seeing an Hispanic male teenager, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 145 pounds, walking in an alley with a gun. Officers checked the area, but couldn’t find any shell casings or damages.

At about 9:30 p.m., an officer spotted someone using bolt-cutters on a coin-operated newspaper box at the Taylor Road park-and-ride. Casey Adam Proctor, 22, of Rocklin, was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and related charges.

Nov. 26

At 4:45 a.m., a private security officer patrolling an apartment complex in the 1900 block of South Cirby Way investigated a vehicle alarm and a suspicious person in the parking lot. He detained the suspect, who was holding a knife, until police arrived. Donald Eugene Strong Jr., 19, of Citrus Heights, was arrested on weapons charges.

At 4 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle break-in that had just happened in a commercial lot in the 2000 block of Opportunity Drive. Officers located a male walking in the nearby neighborhood. He had the victim’s checkbook, as well as a knife, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Officers located the victim’s purse discarded in another nearby parking lot. Guy Anthony Dandrea, 28, of Lacey, Wash., was arrested on burglary, weapons and drug charges. 

Nov. 27

Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect broke into a dentist’s office in the 2400 block of Professional Drive and took a flat-screen television from the waiting area.

At 2:30 p.m., a silver 2012 Hyundai 4-door sedan was stolen from an auto dealership in the 200 block of North Sunrise Avenue. 

At 8:38 a.m., officers responded to a report that someone had driven their vehicle up on the sidewalk and hit a stop sign on Clinton Avenue at Fern Street. Officers located the suspected driver in a house in the 100 block of Clinton. Warren Lee Wheeler, 42, of Roseville, was arrested on suspicion of parole violation, illegal possession of firearms, drug possession and related charges.
