In a separate instance, between 7:15 a.m. and 5 p.m., someone kicked the front door of a home in the 1600 block of Vernon Street and took a laptop and an e-reader. In this case, a man was seen loitering near the victim’s house in the morning, described as a white male adult, about 20 years old, clean-shaven, riding a mountain bike.

At 4:45 a.m., the Roseville Fire Department responded to and extinguished a dumpster fire on Sierra College Boulevard near Roseville Parkway. A red BMW four-door sedan was seen leaving the lot as the fire started. The fire didn’t spread beyond the dumpster.
