Community needs shelter

The Gathering Inn in Roseville closed its doors July 30. With the recent theft of homes in the recent foreclosure scam, there are many without a home. Plus, the recent depression in the economy is making it impossible for anyone even with a home to find work, therefore it is hard to believe that at a time like this that a homeless shelter is being shut down. All it would take to keep it open would be $150,000. If we pull together in donations and fundraisers, there should be no reason why this shelter, this beacon of hope for those in this recent poverty, should not be saved.
