Community makes holiday a success

Chamber President Ed Friedman said this was the biggest crowd he has ever seen assembled to watch Roseville's patriotic salute to our nation's birthday. n n n Last call for those interested in participating in the Chamber's annual Past Presidents' Golf Tournament slated for Monday, July 30, at Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club. Our day will begin with breakfast at 7 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Lunch and prizes will follow the fun-filled day of golf. Cost to play is $150 per person. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. We'd love to have you join us! n n n Tickets are now on sale for the 12th annual SPLASH scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Roseville Aquatics Complex. Don't be disappointed: purchase your ticket now for $60 while they are still available. The most asked question in the Chamber office this week regarding the SPLASH is ... "Will the '80s AllStars band be back?" and the answer is YES! Rumor has it we will also have more restaurants/caterers than we have ever had - you don't want to miss this event! n n n City Manager Craig Robinson will be our speaker Friday at the Chamber's monthly luncheon. He will be providing an update on current development activity, looking ahead and proposed development for our community, highlighting the recently adopted budget and sharing with the audience Roseville's vision for a sustainable city. The luncheon is held at the Maidu Community Center, food will be provided by Pasta Pomodoro and TeazMe will be providing beverages. Cost to attend is $15. Reservations for this event are required and on-line registration is available at n n n This Friday is also the deadline to submit your application for Leadership Roseville.
