Comcast telecasts include two Granite Bay games
Comcast Hometown Network will televise 23 high school football games this season, including two Granite Bay contests.
Granite Bay’s nonleague game Sept. 30 at Pittsburg will be televised at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5; and its Sierra Foothill League clash Oct. 21 at Del Oro will be shown at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
There are seven games on the schedule involving Sac-Joaquin Section teams, starting with Folsom at Grant tonight. Folsom avenged a 49-14 pummeling at the hands of Grant in their 2010 opener with a 41-20 beating in the Division II section final. The Bulldogs went on to win the Division II State Bowl Game.
Comcast will televise tonight’s game at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, on Channel 104. The telecasts will be replayed, according to a news release.
Dan Dibley of “The Rise Guys” show — formerly on KHTK 1140 AM and now on SportsRadio 95.7 FM — and Cal announcer Todd McKim will do play by play. San Jose SaberCats coach Darren Arbet and UC Davis football voice Scott Gordon will be the color analysts, and Myriah Johnson of Comcast will be the sideline reporter, according to the news release.
