City considering utility rate increase

Environmental Utilities Department holding three public workshops

The city of Roseville’s Environmental Utilities Department is considering a utility rate increase, and three public workshops will be held to inform residents of the proposal.

During the workshops, city staff will present on the department’s two-year proposal and response to questions from the public. Details on the potential rate increase will be available one week prior to the first workshop at www.roseville.ca.us/eurates.

The first workshop will start at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 in meeting room 1 and 2 at Riley Library, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. The second workshop is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Maidu Community Hall, 1550 Maidu Drive. The third workshop is at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 in the Timber Creek Lodge Ballroom at Sun City Roseville, 7050 Del Webb Blvd. in Roseville.
