Tickets are on sale now for Roseville’s party of the year – SPLASH, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Roseville Aquatics Complex. The evening will feature fine wines and ice-cold beer for your enjoyment as well as an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. To date, we have a record number of restaurants and caterers along with local artists who will be participating in this annual event. Entertainment this year will include the Harmonics Steelband and dancing to the 80z All Stars. Save money and buy your ticket now for $70 per person. Starting Sept. 1 the price will increase to $85. Tickets can be purchased online at, in our office at 650 Douglas Blvd. and from the city of Roseville’s Park and Recreation offices located at the Maidu and Mahany centers. Come experience an evening of art, music, dancing, food and beverages. Proceeds from the SPLASH will be shared with the city of Roseville and the Chamber’s Building Fund. Again this year the city is designating its funds to construct parks designed to be universally accessible for children with and without disabilities. Knowledge is power ... right? If you agree, then plan on attending the Chamber’s monthly luncheon next Friday, Aug. 15, for an opportunity to learn more about the individuals vying for a seat on the Roseville City Council this fall. Reservations are required for the event and can be obtained by visiting our Web site, or calling our office at 783-8136. Are your children getting “bored” with summer? If so, how about a trip to Downtown Roseville’s Blue Line Art Gallery. Let them check out the seven tons of sand inside the gallery that sand sculptor Mark Rademaker has created. The display will be in the gallery through Aug. 29. The Blue Line Art Gallery is located at 405 Vernon St. and is open Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m; Saturdays, 1-8 p.m. Donations are encouraged for admission.
