Chamber Checkpoint: Ribbons relocated to Galleria for upcoming auction
How observant are you? Have you noticed anything missing in Roseville or Granite Bay?
If you answered the creatively decorated Breast Cancer Ribbons, you’re absolutely correct. They are all now being proudly displayed at Westfield Galleria at Roseville in preparation for the Art Auction and Celebration scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 25.
The celebration will be held in the outdoor Promenade area from 4 to 7 p.m. Many of the artists will be there with other art pieces for viewing and for sale. There will be beer, wine, food, entertainment and a silent auction. The highlight of the evening will be the live auction of the ribbons.
Event organizers are pre-selling tickets for a donation of $10. All proceeds will go to Cure Breast Cancer the charity designated to receive the funds raised by this project. Close to $55,000 has been raised so far.
On behalf of the Roseville Chamber I would like to commend Steve Pease, Jan Pollo and other members of the KMS team for making this dream a reality for Roseville.

Paying a visit
Heads up Roseville and Granite Bay businesses ... we’re coming to see you! Plans are underway for our second annual Business Walk scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30.
This year we will be walking in conjunction with the Lincoln and Rocklin Chambers and Cities, the Sacramento Metro Chamber and Placer County. Participants go into businesses of all kinds and ask three questions: how’s business, what do you like about doing business here and what needs to be improved?
Feedback is then passed on to economic development staff or other appropriate departments to resolve the issues that arise.
William Jessup University will be the kick-off site and the wrap up will be held at Thunder Valley Casino. It’s not too late to sign up to walk with us! Contact Cathy at (916) 783-3997 or cathy@
