Modern business is chaos. Administrative professionals bring order. Office professionals anticipate needs, track details, connect stakeholders, deliver results – and keep it on schedule and under budget.
That is why for 61 years the International Association of Administrative Professionals has invited businesses to show their appreciation for these modern-day wonders who bring order to workplaces. Administrative Professionals Week is April 21-27. On IAAP’s website (www.iaap-hq.org) there are ideas for recognizing administrative assistants and myriad other office professionals.
Wednesday, April 24, is Administrative Professional’s Day. The Greater Roseville Chapter of IAAP invites administrative professionals to celebrate by mingling with peers at a Networking Mixer and Business Expo. Meet other local professionals and vendors showcasing tools that can be uses in personal and professional lives. Sarah L. Cook, co-author of “The Parents’ Guide to Raising CEO Kids,” will give a presentation called “Moving from Admin to CEO.” There will also be complimentary appetizers, beverage and dessert. Prizes are on the menu, too.
The theme for the evening is “Be the One with IAAP.” Find out how IAAP can help administrative professionals reach career goals through education, community building and leadership development. Administrative professionals – including those between jobs – are welcome. Seating is limited.
