Wimbledon champion Vania King to play her first home match

Vania King, the 2010 Wimbledon ladies doubles champion, will make her first home court debut for the Sacramento Capitals Friday night when the team faces the Springfield Lasers. The 21-year-old won the Wimbledon title July 3 with partner Yaroslava Shvedova. The two claimed victory in three straight sets. The Capitals play at Westfield Galleria in Roseville. The stadium is located at the corner of Galleria Blvd. and Roseville Parkway next to Pier 1 Imports. After losing their first three matches of the season, Sacramento picked up its first win Thursday in Kansas City. The team returns home Friday hoping to make it two wins in a row. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the tennis starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased at
