Book sale takeover on Wacky Wednesday

Funds from used book sale to benefit public libraries
-A +A
The Friends of the Roseville Public Library will officially take responsibility for the in-house used book sales at all three libraries on Wednesday, Dec. 7, as part of Wacky Wonderful Wednesday. Volunteers will unpack and display dozens of used books, and provide refreshments and giveaways for library visitors. The takeover of the book sales frees up library staff and provides an outlet for the community’s donated books. Prices range from 10 cents to $5, and all funds go to the libraries for the purchase of materials. Wacky Wednesday goes from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Downtown Library, 225 Taylor St. It runs from 1-2 p.m. at Maidu Library, 1530 Maidu Drive, and from 3-4 p.m. at the Martha Riley Library, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. For more information, visit ~ Staff report
