Bone marrow drive Friday

"Swab to save a life" at Fairway Chiropractic
-A +A
Shelley Luke was diagnosed with leukemia in February. She is a mom and wife, and she needs a bone marrow transplant. Dr. Paul Diemer is hosting a bone-marrow drive Friday at his Roseville business, Fairway Chiropractic. All you have to do is “swab to save a life” — a match is determined based on a pain-free cheek swab. People must be between 18 to 60 years old to participate in the registry and agree to donate their bone marrow to any patient in need. To thank people for participating in the drive, Diemer will offer free chiropractic exams and adjustments. The bone marrow drive takes place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, at Fairway Chiropractic, 1805 Cirby Way, Suite 9, in Roseville. For more information or if your business would like to participate, call Stacey at (916) 792-4201. ~ Staff report
