Sutter Rehab opens Back Street Bistro

Last week, Sutter Roseville Medical Center opened its second dining option for the hundreds of patients and employees who fill its campus each day. The new Back Street Bistro offers grab-and-go items, including homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, snack items, and bite-sized desserts as well as short-order cooked items such as hamburgers, veggie burgers and grilled sandwiches and paninis. The bistro also boasts outdoor seating on a deck overlooking the oak-studded surrounding landscape. The Back Street Bistro is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Molly Maid gets involved in domestic violence prevention 

Molly Maid of Placer County, a cleaning franchise, is using October’s National Domestic Violence Awareness Month as a chance to get involved with helping provide services to victims of physical and mental abuse. Throughout the month, a portion of fees from each home it cleans will be donated to the Ms. Molly Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to local domestic violence shelters and organizations. Last year, the Ms. Molly Foundation raised $223,000, which was distributed to more than 120 shelters across the country.

The Fresh Market plans sneak preview opening

The soon-to-be-opened The Fresh Market in Roseville is inviting the public to a “Crack the Parmesan” sneak preview of its location at 2030 Douglas Blvd. The event is Wednesday Oct. 24 at 7:30 a.m., Representatives from the company called the event an official celebration of the store’s grand opening. Coffee and breakfast will be served. The Fresh Market specializes in old world butcher shop offerings, European delicatesan items and fresh baked goods.
